more snow (argh!)
it's snowing in boston again, another 3-6 inches. there will be no walking outside today. instead, my exercise (cross training?) for the day will be shoveling. as a cross training exercise, it's very unsatisfying.
yesterday, i walked 3.5-4 miles (about an hour). it was cold and windy, but sunny. overall, not a bad day for spending a little time outside.
nothing new to report on the fundraising front. keep those donations coming!
more news later on this KBS station.

it's been a long few weeks...
i've been slacking off again, both with training and with posting updates here.
since i last posted, i haven't done any training. i spent about a week and a half doing nothing but visiting my chiropractor, icing my lower back, and doing lots of stretching after my stupid incident moving the TV. now that i've worked through that, i am back to vb and will walk outside tomorrow even though it is supposed to be in the 20's (that's around 0 degrees C for the canucks, south africans, and other metric users who might be reading). layers, layers, and more layers - that's the key to walking in the cold. i'd like to find out what the keys are to walking in the heat - spring and summer can't get here fast enough for me!
fundraising update: the current total is $1,446, which is about 34 percent to my goal. Thanks to my grandparents, Gerald & Katy Dorow, and my aunt and uncle, Terry & Greg Dorow, for their donations.
more news (on a more regular schedule) later on this KBS station.
